The piers and supporting abutments of the viaduct have shallow foundations, in consideration of the good mechanical characteristics of the surface soil. In elevation, the pies have a rectangular section shaft with rounded heads with a rectangular section pier cap of variable height. The abutments are of the traditional type with wing walls to contain the road embankment.
