The project involves the construction of a single-support metal footbridge with a span of 31.2m. The deck of this through-bridge consists of two vaulted main beams with a symmetrical welded I-section are 1.5 m high and equipped with transverse stiffeners with a T section in correspondence with the sleepers. The double T crosspieces are connected to the main beam by endplate joints. Since there is no concrete slab, an adequate bracing system had to be provided.
The walking surface consists of wooden elements resting on metal beams with omega-sections connected to the crosspieces.
The abutments are of the traditional type with cast-in-place reinforced concrete elements, consisting of a front wall, side walls statically independent of the abutment itself and mat foundation.
